To carry out and support the ongoing operations of the company General Underwriting function by receiving and reviewing Insurance requests from clients and customers, thereby determining its risk through analyzing the received data and its adequacy and requesting for more needed information, administering survey processes, Taking decisions on whether or not to accept the risk according to authority matrix, with the aim to increase the company profits and minimise the losses. Preparing the quotations after determining proper coverage and finally issuing the policy in accordance to the company policies and SAMA regulations
To receive and review requests submitted by the clients, brokers and consultants, ensuring all needed documents for risk evaluation is present, thereby requesting any missing documents so as to ensure completeness. To ensure all required data and information regarding the evaluation of risk is present so as not to miss out on potential risks by gathering all needed information regarding the risk that needs to be insured and requesting the administration of surveys as per the company policy, ensuring the request is in compliance with the requirements. To accurately and effectively evaluate and determine the total risk involved and decide whether or not it should be undertaken, by analysing its cost-benefit analysis to the company thus arriving at decision. To determine the terms and conditions in the case of accepting a risk by adding warranties or terms to balance out the risk and premium demanded ? To prepare and issue the quotation in according to the client's requirements, ensuring it is competitive yet feasible, and to ensure all measures have been taken to ensure the business is in compliance with SAMA regulations and the company policies before issuance by double-checking the validity of all required documents. To provide a daily report about the status of each case and follow up the updates precisely and efficiently. To provide weekly reports of quotations and the total production by extracting the raw data through the system, and to keep detailed records of each of the statistics.
