Key responsibilities

• Check Acceptance/Debt Collection.
• 
  
• Adhere to Credit Policy and achieve collection target.
• 
  

 

Key tasks

• Locate and monitor overdue accounts using
  automated systems with assistance of Collection Supervisor.
• 
  
• Record information about financial status of
  customers and status of collection efforts to
  Collection Supervisor and Credit Controller.
• 
  
• Confer with customers by telephone or in person to determine reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of sales, service or credit contracts in discussion with Financial and Credit Controller.
• 
  
• Responsible for sending customers Invoice and Statement of Accounts on a monthly basis.
• 
  
• Ensuring targets are met through active debts collection.
• 
  
• Resolving the queries that may arise both internally and externally.
• 
  
• Monitors receivables of Key Retailers and Top
  Customers.
• 
  
• Discuss about problematic customers on monthly credit control meetings.
• 
  
• Sorting and filing correspondence, and perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and writing reports.
• 
  
• Create and maintain credit history file for customers.
• 
  
• Liaise with other departments, solving problems in pro-active manner and professional approach
• 
  
• Ensures the Credit and Collection Policies are
  followed as set by H.O.
• 
  
• Shall adhere to company policy, including
  procedures related to QMS and EMS.
• 
  
• Performs other related jobs/tasks as required
•
