Job title: Business Development Director
Salary: 958,205 SAR + Transport and Housing

A truly unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the world’s leading companies as their next Business Development Director.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for the development of the Saudi Arabia new business strategy for the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) division of Lockheed Martin. The Business Development Director will contribute to the RMS orders growth within Saudi Arabia through development and qualification of new business opportunities throughout the Kingdom.
You will have overall responsibility to manage the evaluation and review of consumer research, point-of-sale and syndicated data. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Insures report findings for major marketing, distribution, and manufacturing proposals and their impact on the sales function are prepared. Oversees the central development and implementation of new products, re-launches, new business building programs, sales rationale, etc. Directs the participation in presales or sales meetings to review proposed plans. Functions as liaison between regional sales and marketing function. May direct and/or initiate sales analysis affecting distribution, spending as it relates to volume, brand promotional strategy, and selling tools.
You will work with the senior leadership team to understand the overall RMS new business strategy and ensure the local RMS Saudi Arabia strategy is in alignment. You will serve as the prime internal and external contact for RMS international Business Development for Saudi Arabia.
The position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Leading the Saudi Business Development Team for the identification and qualification of new business opportunities
• Leading briefings and strategy meetings for senior/executive management, customer and government representatives
• Hosting and coordinating company executive visits to Saudi Arabia
• Acting as the Saudi Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Lockheed Martin RMS, providing advice and guidance to the RMS Lines of Business
• Management of overall budgets, schedule and performance standards for RMS in Saudi
• Leading Lockheed Martin Saudi Arabia at RMS-led and Corporate-led trade shows/conference messaging in coordination with communications
• Coordinating with all RMS Lines of Business to ensure clear communication of Saudi Arabia activities and opportunities and their alignment to the regional strategy.
• Coordinating with the Lockheed Martin International teams to ensure alignment of the Saudi Arabia RMS strategy, use of common resources and a general knowledge of the corporation's activities in the region.
• Actively developing and maintaining Saudi & regional business and government relationships to optimize RMS customer engagement opportunities.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
• Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) experience
• Knowledge and experience of Rotary and Mission System product lines and capabilities
• Expertise in Saudi politics, business and culture
• Maintain regular contact with US agencies and policy makers which affect Saudi Arabia and the region
• Experience in strategy development for domestic products with international potential
• Understanding of customer requirements development processes
• Fluent Arabic Speaker
