1- Develops and implements safety plan - which already prepared by project manager with assistance of safety engineer - to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions, utilizing knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health and safety laws.
2- Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
3- Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
4- Determines requirements for safety clothing and devices, and designs, builds, and installs, or directs installation of safety devices on machinery.
5- Conducts or coordinates safety and first aid training to educate workers about safety policies, laws, and practices.
6- Investigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.
7- Preparing annual reports for presentation to shareholders.
8- Provide ways to fix unsafe structures or recommend changes.
9- Coach and follow up all site safety representatives to ensure implementation of project safety plan.
10- Develop broad safety programs and ensure safety in the workplace.
11- Try to eliminate unsafe practices and conditions.
12- Manage and control the flow of the safety tools (Gloves, Glasses, Vests, etc..) on site for the site team.
13- Prepare an emergency plans with assistance of project manager for any accident on site.
