procurement Officer is responsible for the purchasing of the Scrap metals from the market & offering our services to the suppliers. As a procurement officer he is responsible for the Purchasing/loading, logistical support & reduction of cost at every possible stage ensuring the customer/suppliers are fully satisfied in doing business with us. This job involves travelling & meeting new clients.
- To purchase material as per market & generate profit for the organization.
- To develop business for the group.
- To work on developing the brand name & improvising the market penetration.
- To generate new business lead.
- To control expenses & cost on the purchasing.
- Responsible for the movements of goods from site to the Yard.
- Responsible for documentation of the material & supplier account.
- To follow through for the payments receivables &payables of the supplier/customer
- Accountability of the P/L of the supplier &customer account.
- To assist Pm/AM in estimation &planning.
- To coordinate loading till drop shipment to Yard.
- To follow delivery, note for every delivery from Site to Yard
- Daily checking of material inward & expenses for their respective supplier & customers.
- Daily preparing of the reports for their customer/suppliers.
- To review on the supplier account reports every week with the managers.
- Develop a detailed working plan.
- Minimize communication & work independently.
