• Safe Project delivery on schedule and budget;

• Ensuring that objectives and performance standards are set and met or, where not, effective corrective measures are put in place and followed up;

• Preparation, oversight, and implementation of robust safety policies;
• 
  
• Ensuring achievement and maintenance of high standards of safety, establishment of a strong safety culture that underpins design, construction and operation, and compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements;
• 
  
• Ensuring appropriate oversight and direction to management on every level of the organization;
• 
  
• Ensuring that competences and resources are adequate for the Project to meet its objectives;
• 
  
• Ensuring that appropriate internal control processes, including assurance arrangements, are in place to ensure high levels of efficiency, effectiveness, and safety;
• 
  
• Overseeing that project management system is established, implemented, and assessed at regular intervals;
• 
  
• Ensuring stakeholders' approval for the Project.
