Chemical Engineer Job Description
Job Summary:
The chemical engineer in the development center will be responsible for setting all the manufacturing processes and formulas concerning sole making, ink printing and glue applications.
Tasks:
Working with cross functional teams including Business, Manufacturing and Engineering on new process reviews, scale up and commercialization projects related to new products at the site.
Developing all compounding formulas for EVA injection machines for sole making and rubber making processes.
Developing all manufacturing processes concerning all ink and glue applications
Designing production-scale equipment based on procedures developed at lab scale.
Working, both, independently and with cross functional teams to identify root cause, initiate corrective actions and manage and control system improvement projects.
