Management
• Recruit, hire and mentor a team of structural engineers with strong technical skills.
• Develop, socialize, and execute design plans and processes to ensure the product development activities meet the applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
• Assign the structural engineers to the projects
• Monitor the daily activity, productivity, and quality of the structural team.
• Submit a monthly report to the design manager, showing the status of the workload, achieved activities for the past month and the forecasted activities for the coming month and to report any open actions).
Technical Role
• Provide technical review of all documents produced thru the structural team.
• Ensure that the design process is complying with Assystem – Quality manual and the design flow chart.
• Attend the technical meetings with the client/consultants and provide the required technical support.
• Provide technical support and transfer the know how to his staff.
• Attend kick-off meetings/design review meetings/workshops
• Provide support to bid department by providing the cost estimation and LOD related to the structural department for anticipated projects and to attend any Job EX-meetings if required
• Follow up and review the documents provided by sub-consultants (if any).
