• Focus on small customers who do not need to be visited
• Have a selling responsibility for the customer from start to finish
• Cover both new and existing customers
• Serve as an ‘incubator’ for sales talent and for new customers
• Give clear handover info to Customer Service
• Handle mass quotations for onesies and twosies under standard T&Cs (Terms & Conditions
• Review customer performance with Sales Manager or Sales Coordination Manager (depending on Area set up and option chosen)
• Prepare calls, conduct calls, report and follow-up on calls
• Conclude contracts (proposal, negotiation, closing)
• Selectively engage in TM discussions on important matters
• Feed-back market information
• Evaluate customer potential (Forecast/Budget)
• Cover MR customers
• Give clear handover info to Customer Service
• Commercial follow-up (e.g. quotations, pricing/free-time approvals, etc.)
• Admin and back office (RAs, FMC filing, handover to CS, etc.)
