Job Overview:
Responsible for computation of Tax and Zakat liability and submission of Tax and Zakat Return on time to the relevant government authority and compliance of all laws and regulations in such respect along with relevant reporting.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with all VAT Law regulations for all business transactions including input/output
Ensuring internal processes are VAT compliant
Provide advice to colleagues in the business for VAT issues
Responsible for compliance and accounting of the VAT liabilities of the company’s operations
Provide cover for the preparation, validation and submission of monthly and/or quarterly Tax returns
VAT Reconciliations with GAZT – General Authority of Zakat and Tax
Stay update with changes in Tax Laws and legislation to ensure relevant compliance
VAT returns preparation
VAT returns review
Oversight of organization for indirect tax compliance
Involvement with GAZT for compliance matters adding an element of variety
Provide exceptional customer service all internal and external customers.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Line Manager/Department Head.
