• Ensuring with Project / Site Management and Supervision that all operations and activities are effectively executed in compliance with Company, Site and Project HSE regulations and relevant legal and other requirements.
• To work effectively with the project / site execution team in establishing and implementing effective HSE Management Systems, Risk Assessment and HS&E planning at site
• To contribute towards building a positive team spirit and Positive HSE culture at site on all HSE matters.
• Effective active site monitoring, recording and reporting of our own and Subcontractors HSE performance and workplace conditions
• To actively challenge and report any unsafe actions and unsafe conditions
• To ensure near miss and improvement observation reporting is maintained
• To conduct critical task assessment, TBT and Site based critical task trainings / Awareness sessions as per activity
• Provision and arrangement of site related signage’s etc.
• To make sure PPE’s compliance as per company standards
• To make sure the all the PTW requirements are in place and all the supporting documents are attached and controls are in place as per Risk Assessment.
• To make sure all equipment’s including lifting gears are colour coded, inspected, certified and scaffolding are inspected and tagged
• To make sure all the workforce is aware about the site emergency procedures
• To prepare site for audit and to conduct internal site inspection / Audit, along with report preparation and submission to site Lead HSE for review and further necessary actions for improvements
• Identification of HS&E resource needs within area of responsibility.
• Acting as specialist HS&E function “Technical Authority” for area of responsibility, maintaining acceptable standards of personal competency, function best practice and technical excellence within HS&E function through regular presentations and the continuous training site staff.
• Support Site Lead HSE for Record and maintenance of adequate Site HS&E records and report making and updating in central data bank
