Perform electrical installation, mechanical repairs through use of drawings, schematics and interpretation/knowledge of
applicable codes and safety regulations.
Description:
Maintenance Actions:
-Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures-Assemble and prepare electrical
components.
-Install and test electrical components.
-Ensure equipment is operational and safe prior to final test.
-Perform Mechanical Disassembly, inspection & Reassembly.
-Hydraulic / Pneumatic systems (Pumps, motors, rams, etc.)
-Capital drilling equipment includes top drives, roughnecks, pipe racking systems and drawwork systems.
- Electrical motors and associated control systems (various frequency drives, PLCs, etc.)
- Properly document repair procedures in accordance with local policies.
- Ensure accurate use and inventory of repair parts.
-Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
-Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
