•Day to day manage the implementation of the annual electrical work plan.
•Provide the Sr. superintendent with input for the development of maintenance strategy and manage its implementation for all electrical parts of all vessels and support crafts.
•Manage and monitor budget on a day to day basis and provide the Sr. superintendent with weekly financial reports.
•Execute and monitor the established policies and procedures for an effective and efficient functioning of the Marine division by visit the engine room on a regular basis.
•Provide accurate reports to the Sr. Marine Superintendent on work done/ performance, accidents/ delays, status of assets and work forecasts; consult the Electrical Sr. Consultant if needed.
•Provide the operation with adequate and appropriate electrical expertise in order to keep the business running and minimize the downtime.
•Analyze the reports provided by the w/k electrical engineers, assess electrical maintenance activities and suggest efficiency improvement of activities and techniques by visit the engine room on a regular basis.
•Provide the Sr. superintendent with input from the w/k Site Electrical Managers and deliver electrical expertise to advise in the decision making.
•Conduct regular visits to ensure effective and safe operation of all vessels and support crafts, according to HSE requirements.Respond to QHSE reports and ensure addressed issues will be solved.
•Provide, collect and analyze the electrical purchase requisitions and provide input and recommendations to the Sr. Superintendent to order electrical (spare) parts and equipment
•Responsible for timely ordering electrical aspects and spare parts.
•Provide leadership and guidance towards department's Electrical engineers; act as a specialist if issues cannot be solved onsite.
•Cooperate efficiently and constructively discuss operational issues on a regular basis with engineering superintendent and (Sr.) dredge master.
•Coordinate and plan optimal staffing for effective, efficient and safe functioning of the electrical division.
•Provide Sr. superintendent with input and advise on staffing needs of the Marine division following human resource procedures and processes.
•Recommend to Sr. Marine Superintendent best development opportunities of electrical division Staff.
•Coordinate and execute the yearly performance evaluation process for the supervisors and foremen and ensure that the yearly performance evaluation process for the subordinates is executed.
