Establish sales and margin goals in cooperation with the Operations Manager and ensure their achievement
• Develop operating budgets, in collaboration with the Operations Manager, and monitor performance and adherence to set budgets
• Manage store team in order to maximize sales and profit performances
• Build all store related standards, supervise their execution and ensure their successful implementation
• Set and achieve store stock shrinkage goals in conjunction with the Stock Control Team
• Establish and implement existing and new stock control procedures in cooperation with the Stock Control Team
• Implement appropriate security systems and measure in order to protect merchandise
• Maintain a welcoming environment in order to exceed customers’ expectations through generating customer traffic and building loyalty
• Coach and mentor store team in the implementation of suitable initiatives that support the achievement of exceptional customer service standards
• Maximize store’s performance through the identification of potential store operations and merchandise flow improvements and communicate them to management
• Provide continuous feedback to customers and planners
• Identify items and merchandise classified for high sales and profit potential
• Communicate special requirements relating to customer needs or competitor’s advantage to related parties
• Assure the maintenance and continuity of appropriate and balanced inventory levels
• Provide input on merchandise presentation and maintenance of in-store environment, which is consistent with RMLPs desired image and character, to the Buying Division and the Visual Presentation Team.
• Provide guidance and direction on the proper implementation and execution of internal fixture installation and merchandise presentation best practices
• Review and adjust store merchandise payouts in order to attain maximum sales within each merchandise classification
• Ensure adequate and satisfactory store maintenance and housekeeping
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of store’s performance issues and market trends by visiting relevant competition regularly, studying new approaches, etc.
• Supervise and develop store staff ensuring their capabilities of meeting store sales, margin cost, expenses, merchandising standards, operating objectives and customer service initiatives
• Recruit appropriate individuals to various store positions
• Develop suitable succession plan for the store
• Set and establish sales and performance criteria and ensure its proper application
• Create personnel motivational programs to increase unit sales and volume transactions
• Conduct orientation and training of all new store management personnel through coaching and mentoring
• Manage and evaluate the implementation and execution of customer service activities and policies and their adherence to set standards
• Ensure the expansion and increase of existing customer base through continuous monitoring and development of the client books and suggesting the required actions for achievement
• Evaluate store team’s performance monthly and annually in order to identify their needs and build suitable development programs
• Plan and implement training of supervisory store staff while providing the required guidance and direction of hourly/support staff training
• Ensure proper training of agreed upon training programs by regular observation at store level
• Direct and manage RMLP’s promotional strategies and programs’ execution while assuring their support of PRC’s sales, marketing and profit objectives
• Raise awareness and knowledge of RMLP in their local markets
• Any other duties as assigned by the direct manager
