Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensures through his/her actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital.
- Design data collection tools for each clinical audit project.
- Develop spreadsheets and input data for each unit project.
- Establish data collection processes to ensure projects deadlines are met.
- Assist in explorative data analysis and interpretation of findings from clinical audit projects.
- Contribute to the development of recommendations aimed at improvements to clinical practices and procedures.
- Ensure that clinical audit databases are kept up-to-date by liaising with relevant groups to monitor the progress of clinical audit projects and the implementation of recommendations resulting from clinical audits.
- Function as a role model to all levels of staff: act as a preceptor / resource by involving staff in clinical audit projects and providing training, advice and guidance.
- Make suggestions for change and process improvement. Participates in staff meetings and quality improvement activities.
- Apply a positive approach to professional interpersonal relationships: maintain effective relationships with all level of staff. Resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
- Function effectively as a team leader: make suggestions for improving productivity. Give and receive feedback in a positive manner: seek understanding of all viewpoints.
- Demonstrate understanding of environmental safety, infection control standards and related policies and procedures. Maintain security and confidentiality of medical records.
- Serve on KAAUH committees as requested.
- Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.
- Participates in, and supports, quality improving and patient safety activates as an individual or as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform other job related duties as required.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Medical, Para-Medical or Nursing (With 4 years experience).
- Master degree in Medical, Para-Medical or Nursing (With 2 Years experience).
