Job summary:
To collect, clean, process, transport and distribute Home Care equipment and supplies. To assist with routine preventive maintenance and calibration and ventilators and other Respiratory devices.
Principal Duties:
Using expert knowledge and skills to ensure the delivery of quality services to clients by:
1. Performing equipment rounds, collect dirty equipment and re-stocks with clean equipment and supplies.
2. Dis-assembling, decontaminating, cleaning/sterilizing, asembling and packaging all home care equipments and devices as needed.
3. Maintaining departmental inventory of sonsumables and supplies. Notifies supervisory personnel of " low stock" and critical inventory situations.
4. Handling and maintaining departmental equipment and compressed gas cylinders inventory,
5. Responding to request for home care equipment, supplies and compresses gas cylinders through the department.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the duties and functions of the home health services and its relationship to the Health Care Community.
