This is a combined role of Jr. ER and Recruiter.
Jr. Employee Relations:Assist the support of employee relations in the organization, track employees vacations and public holidays, prepare their pay slip and assist in organization related events
- Supports resolution of employee relations’ issues and conduct investigations as necessary
- Prepares staff and faculty communications as needed and related to employee relations matters
- Consolidate attendance records and decide on disciplinary consequences
- Consolidate timesheets data
- Prepare the gross pay slip and submit to Finance Section
- Draft appointment, promotion and end of employment letters
- Investigate disciplinary and grievance matters
- Track employee vacation entitlements and leaves and issue announcements related to public and official holidays
- Maintain and update the employees database
- Assist in the on-site organization of internal employee events (Iftars, etc.)
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by superior
Jr. Recruiter: Assist the employees recruitment in positions serving all areas and in the development of recruiting plans.
- Network through contacts to identify talents and potential candidates
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Post openings with professional organizations, universities, and in other position appropriate venues
- Maintain good records during all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
- Develop working relationships with colleges to aid in recruiting
- Be part of prescreening interviews
- Be part of reviewing applicants to evaluate ability to excel in position
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources database
- Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees
- Assist in writing and forwarding rejection letters
- Assist in interviewing and selecting employees
- Assist in preparing and sending offer packages
- Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages
- Assist in updating CTC organization manual and job descriptions across all CTC functions and respective levels
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by superior
