Primary Functions: Establishing material planning and ensure on-time procurement and delivery of right materials within the budget.Administer control of the store functions :
- Bid support with material pricing
- Establish global sourcing initiative & develop the strategic alliance with local and international vendors.
- Maintain the system for receiving proposals, evaluation and budget controls.
- Solicit, receive and analyze proposal/quotes and recommendations for management approvals.
- Identify the strategy for regular items and repeatable purchases and agreements for contracts and services.
- Search and develop new national and international suppliers.
- Maintain an approved vendor list, periodic evaluation and updates.
- Monitor purchase orders and liaise with suppliers, forwarders and clearing agents
Preparing the system for ERP compliance. - Archive ZERO rejection.
- Engaging with Engineering and Project / Production managers for inputs matters related to procurement.
- ISO requirement fulfillment
Accountability :
- Releasing PO's within 10 days from Material requestion dates.
- Expediting and ensuring timely material deliveries.
- Savings on budgets.
- Stores functions and controls
- Vendor assessment & records.
- Supplier payments and cash outflow management
- Guide and develop team members
