As a van salesman you will be the face of our company to our paint retail customers and the painters who are using our excellent masking tape every day. You will visit the existing customers in your assigned territory on a daily basis and will also be in charge to gain new customers.
Your salary will consist of a basic salary and commission which is linked to development of your customer base and sales revenue.
Areas of Responsibility
- Achieving sales targets by distributing our products on time to the right shop
- Meeting the market demand consistently by forecasting.
- Ensuring product quality by reporting any customer product complaints immediately to his Sales Supervisor.
- Reviewing daily sales performance and market changes with his Sales Supervisor by actively participating in the day-end review.
- Developing customer relationship through timely, adequate and courteous service and resolving customer complaints with the help of his Sales Supervisor.
- Ensuring accurate stock movement by verifying receipts and delivery of stocks.
- Projecting a positive company image by maintaining high standards of sales ethics and acceptable level of personal grooming and hygiene.
- Ensuring optimum use of company equipments (like sales van, mobile & printer) by adhering to recommended procedures and practices.
- Exploring and developing new business in his route while continuously assessing sales performance of the existing customers to improve service level.
- Practicing safe/ defensive driving by following rules of the road while ensuring adherence to all company safety practices and policies.
