•Execute under supervision and guidance of the chief engineer or the beaver supervisor the electrical repairments and maintenance.

•Inform the chief engineer or beaver supervisor on the maintenance schedule and spare parts requirements.

•Work according to the defined policies and procedures of Electrical department.

•Report on work done/ performance, issues and preventive maintenance requirements to Chief Engineer and Beaver Supervisor on a day to day basis.

•Analyze electrical issues and execute electrical repairments on the dredger/ beaver.

•Escalate electrical issues to chief engineer or the beaver supervisor and inform the operational supervisor of the vessel
