• Daily review and management of ready mix delivery schedule.
• Ensure safety expectations are met.
• Inspect and maintain batch plant to insure proper daily function.
• Maintain batch plant at a high level of organization and cleanliness.
• Managing order entry, delivery personnel and equipment.
• Manage daily startup & shutdown of plant, drivers and trucks.
• Verify proper product delivery and adherence to project specifications.
• Monitor quality control and adjust materials as needed to conform to customer/project requirements.
• Maintains relationship with sales personnel and communicates customer feedback effectively.
• Maintains good working relationship and communication with suppliers, effectively communicating changes in raw material demands and plant demands.
• Monitor and maintain material inventories to proper levels for production requirements.
• Must keep time and material records.
• Manage daily reconciliation of plant and driver records, time and productivity.
• Must follow verbal and written instruction.
• Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates and concrete mixtures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system.
