JOB SUMMARY
To practice the Dental Specialty of Periodontic Dentistry:
- Diagnoses and treats inflammatory and destructive diseases of investing and supporting tissue of teeth.
- Splinting of mobile tooth/teeth, extraction of mobile tooth/teeth duo to destruction of periodontium. Simple tooth/teeth extraction as preparation for implant placement.
- Performs surgical procedures (access therapy) to remove diseased tissue; mucogingival therapy (periodontal plastic surgery) and regenerative periodontal therapy.
- Diagnosis and treatment of breath malodor.
- Teeth polishing, eliminate irritating margins of filling, and correct occlusions.
- EDUCATION / LICENSUREEstablishes recall treatment program (supportive periodontal therapy) to monitor oral health practices. Age Requirement : up to 30 Years
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor’s Degree of Dental Science
Desirable
Continuous education courses and workshops in the field of Prosthodontics.
- PROFESSIONAL / EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Registration in Saudi Medical Council and/or Current license to practice oral medicine in Saudi Arabia.
