The Property Engineer reports to the Regional Property Manager for the Central Province and will be responsible for Property Central Province Engineering Services for owned and rented buildings.
Key responsibilities include;
Prepare preventive and corrective maintenance activities and schedule for building equipment such as HVAC systems, Water Distribution systems, Electrical and Communication systems, Elevators, Fire Protection and Alarm System, and Water Distribution Systems.
Perform repairs on building structures and architectural finishes as needed.
Prepare recommendation of works, list of materials and estimated budgetary cost needed for repairs.
Supervise site procurement activities in conjunction with corporate resources.
Responsible for bid, analyses and recommendation of minor new/repair works procurement contracts.
Coordinate with outsource contractors/sub-contractors on preventive and corrective maintenance works.
Making sure that all building services meet health, safety requirements and environmental legislation.
Develop Programs that will improve equipment systems and professional growth of staff.
Promoting energy efficiency and other suitability initiatives.
Miscellaneous projects or works assigned by the management.
