Set the overall annual strategy for the product category and its implementation plan.
Devise development strategies for product categories to ensure the achievement of the strategic objectives.
Supervise the product category marketing researches including analysis of sales trends,
competitors, market share and customer buying habits in order to establish the sales plan.
Research new product options in the category to drive sales and achieve targets.
Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory.
Liaise with customer service team to develop and improve the customer satisfaction procedures.
Establish the product category marketing plan and participate in sales forecasting and sales objectives setting.
Support the overall sales plans by performing and submitting all the necessary product’s analytical researches and studies to the sales team.
Examine and suggest the necessary methods and outlets for various products to assure
product availability.
Responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of a product category to increase sales
and maximize consumer appeal.
Determine optimal pricing through analysis of sales trends.
