The estimation engineer is required to do accurate estimates and quotations for precast concrete elements. Basic knowledge of structural design is needed. Quotations are to be done on a user-friendly computer system after analyzing drawings and specifications. Most likely, the estimation engineer will have no direct contact with clients as the job requires him to do quotations and submit them to the sales department.

• Assign quotation number for the RFQ.
• 
  
• Prepare the quantity to take- off estimate.
• 
  
• Prepare initial price estimate using estimation formal spreadsheet and to be check by the Estimating Manager.
• 
  
• Prepare quotation letter as per the estimation
  parameters and to be check by Estimation
  Manager.
• 
  
• Prepare Revise quotation when it's required and to
  be check by Estimation Manager.
•
