AVK Saudi Valves Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is the market leader for hydrants, water & waste water valves in Saudi Arabia and are supplying more than 10 other markets in the region as well as exporting to Europe and Asia. It is part of AVK Group comprising of more than 20 factories and 100 companies manufacturing and supplying valves to water/wastewater management, HVAC, Oil & Gas and fire protection industries.
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Product Manager, who will be supporting our Area Sales Managers and reporting to the Product Manager, to join our team at AVK SVMC offices in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Key responsibilities
The Assistant Product Manager will be supporting the Area Sales Managers achieving the Regions goals by managing tasks that include but not limited to following objectives:
Take the responsibility of creating the leads in the market for targeted products and channels in KSA.
Take the responsibility of ensure the approval of targeted products.
Providing the sales reps, the required technical proposal and follow-up with the consultant end clients to approve the products.
Follow up with sales representatives to ensure and increase the hit rate of hot list and ensure the deals are closed for targeted product and projects
Develop the product portfolio and find new opportunities to grow the business.
Ensure the existing customers are maintained, by providing prompt, friendly and professional service.
Find and develop new customer with coordination with sales representatives.
Help sales representatives to select the right products.
Prepare necessary sales reports on weekly and monthly basis, and participate in determining sales objectives and budgets, to ensure that sales targets are met.
Undertake technical presentations to consultant and clients as required.
Provide prompt after sale support services.
Any other additional responsibilities as per the job requirement.
Various assignments form his line manager or commercial director.
