Overview:
Huxley is currently working with a well renowned consultancy that is on the lookout for an Director - Risk Advisory.
Position is to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Experience Required:
12+ years professional experience
Significant part of the experience in leading consulting firms, specialising in FS Advisory or working in rating agencies.
Big 4 experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Implementing the corporate governance standards in banks and financial services firms - board focused initiatives aligning to regulatory best-practices
Deep understanding of credit life cycle (underwriting & approvals), and experience in credit rating & analysis + approvals
Implementing Basel 2 (Pillar 1, Pillar 2 requirements, RRP)/ Basel 3/LCR, NSFR regulations
Establishing a governance structure with clear roles and responsibilities
Setting risk tolerances and limit structures - cascading of risk appetite & link to asset allocation where relevant
Developing risk policies/IA policy and processes in credit, market, operational risks, ALM tailored to the specific business line
Developing and implementing models - PD, LGD, EAD, IFRS 9 ECL or VaR and derivative pricing
