1. Serves customers by selling products; meeting customer needs.
2. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and
organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
3. Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
4. Monitors competition by gathering current market place information on pricing, products,
new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
5. Maintaining and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone
calls.
6. Gathering market and customer information.
7. Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers.
8. Checking quantities of goods on display in the showrooms.
9. Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the Manager in the end of the
day.
10. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily
call reports, key performance report.
11. Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
12. Gaining a clear understanding of customers and requirements.
13. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and
providing customers with quotations.
