The procurement Engineer shall perform the following tasks as a minimum:
1- Establish project material specification.
2- Develop generic procurement plans to ensure efficiency, quality, and performance of material procurement to meet project objectives.
3- Interface with the planner to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.
4- Review planned orders, create requisitions for purchased items and manage approval processes.
5- Transmit and prioritize the approved purchase orders and the supporting documents.
6- Track orders acknowledgement and prepare and communicate shortages and backlog reports.
7- Review, update and maintain purchase orders until they are closed.
8- Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts and report non-conformances.
9- Coordinates with the finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies.
