The Project
• Smelter plant in Saudi Arabia.
• My client is part of the EPC consortium.
• The project has been having difficulties and there are ongoing engineering re-designs, particularly with the furnaces.
• The project is in the design stage until August 2019 and then it will be in the construction phase in Saudi Arabia until June 2020.
The Position
• Located in Europe during the design stage. Accommodation and transport will be provided and you will be working a 40 hour week. Once on-site in Saudi Arabia it will be a 60 hour week.
• Flights home will be provided on an 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off rotation. Site allowance and overtime will be paid for the time in Saudi Arabia.
• Currently they have 7-8 staff assigned to the project, this will be increased for the construction stage.
• The Project Director will be responsible for ensuring the smelter is built to the highest standard, in a safe manner, on time and within budget.
Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience.
