Management:-
• Coordinate activities in preparation of proposal with the virtual account team
• Assist in developing Project Scope, Project Plan, Project Budget, design delivery model and coordinate staffing requirements
• Understand the SAP delivery models for projects, programs, portfolios and engagements
• Support positioning of SAP delivery methodology – SAP Activate in the engagement
• Review project plans with the team to ensure that all team members understand the assigned tasks and associated deliverable dates.
• Coordinate with Delivery Management, Bid Managers and other stakeholders involved in bid activities.
Delivery:-
• Manage a sub-Project group to supervise and represent a team within a large Project or program.
• Ensure project success (budgets, schedule, quality and business value)
• Ensure proper use of methodology, tools and procedures
• Assist with project coordination, planning and management as well as early escalations
• Capture Project metrics and ensure they are clearly communicated to the project management team
• Facilitate the prioritization of project requirements with business stakeholders.
• Assist in developing Project Plan and coordinate staffing efforts for field positions.
• Assist in understanding the financial position, understand actual performance, and accurately update forecasts to complete.
• Coordinate the planning and control of project activities and resources.
• Assist in Resource Management process, creating and tracking resource requests
• Assess, impact and identify the need for change requests. Track and monitor project change requests
• Ensures deliverable sign-off is obtained and archive all key project deliverables
• Review project plans with the team to ensure that all team members understand the assigned tasks and associated deliverable dates.
• Implement and manage the execution of the tasks, especially those residing on the critical path.
• Monitor/control project execution through administrative interactions with on-site resources to ensure project finished on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
• Shadow various senior Project Managers to understand the relationship of the contractor prime relationship, to facilitate delivery activities.
• Participate in project kickoff meetings, weekly and monthly project meeting, and monthly project report out reviews as well as project closeout lessons learned.
• Participate in active projects to reinforce PM learning components and how each component of the master Project Plan applies to the project.
• Support planning and execution of formal Quality Gate process following the Q-Gate approach in SAP Methodology (SAP Activate methodology and ASAP where still used).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel), experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Effectively share knowledge, deliverables, and lessons learned with other project coordinators and Project Managers, and the PMO.
• Build relationships with key project stakeholders including but not limited to sponsor, project team, information technology personnel and relevant project managers.
• Report weekly the project components status and issues to Delivery Management and other project stakeholders.
• Capture and record actual hours for all assigned project-level tasks within the project plan.
• Resolve conflicts within the project and across dependent projects between resources, schedules, budgets, and priorities.
