Job Description
Should be capable of leading, overseeing and managing Engineering department providing Engineering solutions in Design development, Construction and implementation phase of projects (Civil, Architectural, MEP & IT) in line with budget, schedule and Quality plan to achieve project success and company’s objectives
Effective daily management of Design Team to ensure the provision of required level of services in a pro-active and professional manner to enable other departments to fulfil their role
Company’s representative to hold technical review, commercial review meetings with Client / Consultants
Should have relevant experience, knowledge and familiarity of building codes, standards, usage of material in design, computer programs or applications used in design in different disciplines.
Identifying and resolving, specifications, construction methodology, sequencing and maintenance issues balancing contractual obligations, statutory requirements from government authorities
Responsible for potential development and production of detailed technical reports, including site visits with appropriate members of the management team to ensure the best cost engineered solution is produced
Able to make site evaluation, engineering design, investigation of any technical problems which may encountered, to provide economical and viable solutions
Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet company’s needs
Coordinate production of drawings, reports to a written programme to ensure company targets are met for a controlled and cost effective completion of project sites
Establish and enforce quality and standards in schemes, policies, procedures and maintain good image of the company by following corporate quality plan
