The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting with all HR operations related to Egypt office. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment support, affirmative action and employment law compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
- Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
- Payroll execution.
- Handle the process of contract renewal, probation period assessment, and employee status change when applicable.
- Submit periodical reports and ensure the integrity of the database.
- Deal with the medical insurance provider and suggest alternatives
- Assist in ensuring factual performance review is conducted and reported to management
- Issue job offers, employment contracts, employee status change, pay slips and salary certificates.
- Maintain employees’ files, original documents, and records.
- Standardize and speed up the process of on-boarding formalities with MOL/Immigration (on-line when applicable)
- Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Handling disciplinary process.
- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Maintains compliance with government and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Support in Recruitment function; coordinating interviews in Egypt office, meet the selected candidates and conduct reference check process
