- Plan, execute, and manage the preparation of theCapEx and OpEx budgets.
- Lead annual work force planning effort to plan for FTEs, outsourced, and vendor resources on a three year, rolling basis.
- Compiles and formulates the annual IT budgets and submits them for scrutiny and approval by CIO.
- Manages the IT budgets on a daily, monthly and annual basis, initiating corrective actions to balance income and expenditure in line with the budgets.
- Produces regular statements of accounts for
management information and to allow relevant managers to manage their own area
of the budgets. - Analyze actual to budgeted results at the end of each reporting period and investigate unexpected deviations.
- Analyze point-in-time snapshots on request of budgeted versus actual costs when they are requested and investigate unexpected
deviations. - Formulates and manages any recharging systems for IT customers.
- Identify and map all current budget related
processes and identify opportunities to streamline, improve, and automate them. - Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
- Participate in annual audit to ensure monitoring is carried out.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of new change, incident, service, and asset management procedures.
- Manage IT Finance Unit.
- Define the IT Finance process strategy Policy and Processes.
- Define appropriate policies and standards to be employed throughout the process.
- Periodically audit the process to ensure compliance to policy and standards.
- Communicate process information or changes as appropriate to ensure awareness.
