The chance to join the evolving Operational Risk team, tasked with protecting the bank and Contribute conceptually in driving the development and maintenance of the ORM Framework. Primary responsibility - to manage the Tools, Systems and MI Reporting of the ORM Unit. Other responsibilities -to assist in all ORM tasks and to provide backup support for other ORM staff, if and when required.
Certain role responsibilities will include the following:
- Develop and maintain underlying documentation and reporting capability in support of all ORM Activities relating to ORM polices and industry best practices.
- Manage the system tools in alignment with IT to support the implementation of the ORM / BCM / FRM framework.
- Maintain the annual business unit operational risk plans and schedules.
- Provide training to business units and other ORM staff on the system tools being used for ORM activities.
- Communicate with business units to ensure appropriate maintenance of the roster of coordinators.
- Manage and maintain the Operational Risk Events, Loss Data, KRI databases for all business units.
- Manage the organizational structure of the Bank and the maintenance thereof, in the ORM system.
- Perform monthly communications with business units for collection of reporting requirements on Operational
Risk Events, Loss Data, and KRIs. - Produce MIS reporting for Management based on the Operational Risk Management Policy and Procedures
- Coordinate with the Finance Department and business units to reconcile Operational Loss Database with the General Ledger.
