Monitor, support, and maintain infrastructure
including installing, configuring, and updating
OS and OS patches.
Design, implement and support both physical
and virtual systems.
Install, harden and patch Linux OS.
Troubleshoot computer infrastructure (servers,
workstations, and appliances) and application
issues.
Deploy, configure, manage and support webhosting
environments, i.e. Apache, Nginx and
Load Balancers for production, staging,
development and test environments.
Collaborate on all aspects of infrastructure
technologies: servers, networks, storage,
databases, and applications as required.
Installing and administering Network Printing
Services and third-party support applications.
Understanding of Networking/Distributed
Computing environment concepts;
understands principles of routing,
Client/Server Configuration, Network
Management, Network File Services, and
Network Naming Services.
Install and resolve hardware problems with
network cabling and network devices such as
routers and switches.
Troubleshooting end-user issues.
