• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
• Demonstrate live how merchandise works and can be used
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Advise customers to the solution/services or products that best meet their requirements
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure all shelves, wall units and floor units are fully stocked at all times
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new and discontinued products/services
• Support and help during stock count and inventory
• Assist in displaying merchandise and store decoration
• Keep the store tidy and clean and cleaning all display units and products
• Process card payments and cash
• Document sales by creating and updating customer profile records
• Attach and replace price tags to items on the store floor
