Inspecting the materials received and prepares the Goods Receive Note with the details (quality, quantities, batch numbers, expiry date & specifications ….etc)
Inspecting outgoing shipments from store and prepares the Goods Transfer Note with the details (quality, quantities, batch numbers, expiry date & specifications ….etc)
The storekeeper is responsible for receiving all shipments and storing them in an organized manner so they are easy to locate later on.
Stores all materials safely and properly according to applicable procedures and practices. Uses bins, racks, baskets, or pallets in designated areas, Affixes Item codes to materials.
Should be able to operate forklift for loading and off-loading materials if necessary .
Report to warehouse supervisor for materials near to expire, damage …..etc.
