Job Overview:
Completes shipments by processing and loading orders, and helps store keeper to perform a variety of tasks including receiving, warehousing, inventory control and shipping.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
•Prepares shipments, pulling materials, packing boxes; placing shipments in delivery area.
•Maintains safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
•Maintaining clean shipping supply area.
•Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Carries inbound shipments, unpacks if necessary.
•Pulls required Material from pallets, trays, racks and shelves in a timely and accurate manner.
•Counts or weighs and records number of units received or issued.
•Preserves material while handling.
•Counts and weighs of incoming and outgoing shipments.
•Secures all warehouses during his duty time.
•shipping, receiving and warehouse areas.
•Performs loading and unloading of trucks.
•Helps assure that security for the warehouse and other inventory locations is maintained.
•Assists with inventory cycle counts.
•Organize and Clean storage areas.
