Oversee consultants mechanical and plumbing design efforts for properties and ensure that all drawing submittals are in line with ACCL’s requirements and design quality standards and guidelines across the various stages of the design process
• Assist with the scoping of design activities and technical evaluation of bids (if required)
• Manage all consultants on a periodic basis to ensure that designs and technical drawings are carried out appropriately and aligned with the approved designs
• Coordinate with Architectural & Interior and Structural & Civil design to carry out mechanical and plumbing design modificationsfor interfaces of building structures as required
• Conduct site visits and collaborate with project managers in identifying and flagging technical mechanical issues, solving project implementation technical issues
• Communicate any design changes to Mechanical in order to liaise with Development Management to reflect in forecasts
• Perform identification of possible value engineering ideas to cut costs/time, in accordance with project teams
• Ensure adherence to ACCL’s design standards
• Assist Project Managers during design and execution with all design related issues
• Support in creating and updating ACCL’s mechanical engineering standards
• Assess relevant variation order requests and offer recommendation to Mechanical (L4)
