Our Client: A leading logistics provider in the region.
Your Role:
You will be responsible for the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the company in all covered geographies.
You will be in charge of other transport staff members in addition to taking charge of every transportation asset and process.
You will be responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of transportation operation staff including driver supervision, national and local lawful operation compliance, equipment maintenance and operational safety and compliance with the standard operating procedures of the company.
Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment, in coordination with central or group procurement manager.
Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities, and providing plans to implement solutions.
Ensure the implementation of Company programs, procedures, methods and practices to promote customer key messages and achieve a competitive advantage
