JOB PURPOSE
The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for
managing, administering, monitoring and supporting the infrastructure related
components and environments utilized by the organization.
Provides leadership and technology vision in the network administration, data-center operations, IP Telephone, security systems and other electronic infrastructure of information technology. Provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Chief Information Officer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop projects timelines and identify projects tasks and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for infrastructure team and appropriate use.
- Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
- Ensuring infrastructure asset management, including maintenance of infrastructure component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation.
- Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures.
- Plan, direct, coordinate and review the work plan for Infrastructure staff. Assign work activities, projects and programs. Review and evaluate work products,methods and procedures. Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.
- Manage the relationship and expectations of user personnel and divisions including
the preparation of service agreements. - Responsible for business strategy and planning to ensure the IT Infrastructure Group has the appropriate resources, budget and tools to provide the highest level of
customer service. - Participate in technical evaluation of new technology.
- Perform various administrative duties including documentation, purchasing, etc.
- Participation in the preparation of RFP requirements and specifications.
