• Manage and follow up 3 workshops (Dammam – Riyadh – Jubail).
• Responsible for all equipment maintenance.
• Develop a Preventative Maintenance Schedule(PMS), ensure full preventative. maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
• Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximising planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime.
• Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
• Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions.
• Produce written reports and make presentations.
• Undertake continuous training and development.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
• Identify business improvement opportunities within the organisation.
• Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact.
• Manage, coach and develop a high performing maintenance team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
• Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
• Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems.
• Prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts and all OPEX & Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the maintenance strategy.
• Support encourage and develop team and take ownership for team cohesion.
• Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere.
• Calculating & monitoring Kwh cost for power plants via daily operation report (DOR) to be monitored & controlled.
• Design & establish new workshops to support all major repairs and overhauls.
• Modify and add to the SAP plant maintenance (PM) module to satisfy our needs.
• Implement daily & monthly operation reports to track the maintenance activities & team performance.
• Modify all documentation & reporting system to comply with ISO 9001 standards & to fulfil our commitment to quality management system.
• Power plants design, installation, start-up & commissioning.
