Preparation and development of WBS structure in co-ordination with project management / client for development of baseline schedule to be used for progress measurement, scheduling and project control
Prepare and get approval of the master schedule (baseline schedule) with milestones dates from the client
Ascertains that correct scope of work is reflected on all schedules.
Integrates interdisciplinary schedule requirements and restraints to establish logical work sequences.
Works with other depts. / sections / contractors to coordinate work sequences for the development of overall project master schedule.
Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities. To closely follow all the critical and near critical path activities and highlight to management in case of delays.
Analyzes critical paths and restraints to determine effect of changes on the schedule and recommends workarounds to mitigate impacts.
Prepares project control plans and detailed manpower utilization plans.
Prepares schedule manpower and quantity progress and performance reports.
Prepare a monthly progress update report, showing the current project status, deviations and identifying any/all critical schedule issues.
Analyze deviation between planned and actual progress and highlight the areas of concern to project management team and the required action.
Participate in all meeting (i.e. schedule review meeting, progress review
meeting, co-ordination meeting etc.) and update and highlight the critical path and near critical activities and the required actions in order to meet the schedule
Carry out any other work assigned by his line Manager
