Guide and lead ideation of core and non-core business opportunities up to the appropriate business case development (benchmark, rational, budget, objectives etc.) and obtain organisation approval.

Description

• Create culture of ideations, generate and capture radical ideas from staff and external vendors
• Nurture and manage new opportunities properly from nascent ideas through to business case development and approvals
• Workout the optimum pace and the scale to invest resources in particular opportunities leading to improved experience, speed/accuracy of delivery and efficiency gains
• Conduct quality reviews and observe team members in the development and delivery of their work: deliver coaching and on the job training: lead team in resolution of project level challenges
• Identify strategic business opportunities and exercises, a disciplined thought process to evaluate the problem statement and possible solutions resulting in a work product which is a qualified concept with a formal recommendation to the organisations CEO to pursue or not
• Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to study the new opportunities and prepare estimated budget for the same
• Assess feasibility and visibility by evaluating whether the concept is technically and operationally possible, within the realm of affordability
• Develop the business case and routes by consolidating results from the feasibility and visibility step and create the final deliverable outcome for the CEO to asses and determine whether to proceed with the concept
• Serve as a consultant to the organisations executive management on innovation. Ideation and evolution of new ideas
• Assist department heads with managing workloads and resource planning for the new opportunities
• Build a culture of managing through innovation
• Conduct exchange meetings and focus groups interviews to generate awareness and capture feedback for development on new concepts
• Engage external vendors, invite and review RFPS's in regards to technology solutions on improved efficiency like digitisation, automation etc

  Profile
  
• Bachelor's or Masters in Business or related field
• 5 + years' experience in strategic planning and strategy formulation
• Prior experience in the design and delivery of mega projects at a reputable strategy house
• Experience in the relevant industry (tourism/health & wellness/entertainment/business clusters or zones)
• Experience in strategic analysis (quantitative/qualitative)
