Summary/Objective
To process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Record, balance and deposit public purchases or fees, donations and employee reimbursements, including maintaining spreadsheets for such billings.
Process accounts payable, including tracking expenditures for training and budgets.
Process department payroll, including entering data for workers’ compensation, reimbursements and payroll adjustments.
Collect, verify and record bond money, submit for funds collected through Payment Services and maintain spreadsheet.
Process checks and maintain all records pertaining to checks.
Enter payroll checks/cash deposits and process payout slips.
Balance cash drawer and process bank and treasurer deposits.
Compute timecards and enter data for fees, including investigation of payments.
Bill other jurisdictions/agencies for fees.
Reconcile bank accounts.
Track employee uniform accounts and encumbered accounts.
Verify front office cash boxes.
Complete special projects as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
