The logistics clerk position analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions of a firm or organization; assists in the life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources.
Essential Functions

Receive all material, machinery, chemicals and supplies.
Verify shipments against purchase orders and examine upon arrival.
Prepare items for shipment to customers and/or return to supplier.
Maintain record keeping systems and mark material with part numbers, date and lot codes, revisions, etc.
Develop and implement shipping and receiving procedures.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Sunday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
