•Develop and implement annual survey plan.
•Develop and implement maintenance strategy for all survey instruments and equipment.
•Prepare, manage and control yearly financial budget of the survey division.
•Establish and implement policies and procedures for effective and efficient functioning of the survey division in cooperation with (Sr.) project surveyors.
•Translate department goals in cooperation with the Chief Projects Officer into Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
•Provide reports to the Chief Projects Officer on KPI's (e.g. progress, issues and equipment and results).
•Monitor weekly performance ofall surveyors of the projects.
•Ensure that the HSE requirements are observed in the execution of all survey activities. Provide guidelines to Sr. project surveyors on QHSE reports/ recommendations.
•Final approval for all purchase requests within the survey division.
•Provide leadership and guidance towards Sr. project surveyors.
•Efficiently and constructively cooperate with the contracts department and the project/ works managers
•Ensure optimal staffing for effective and efficient functioning of the survey division following human resource procedures and processes.
•Ensure and faciliate best development opportunities of survey division staff.
•Coordinate and execute the yearly performance evaluation process for the Sr. project surveyors and project surveyors and ensure that the yearly performance evaluation process for the subordinates is executed
