- Responsible for generating requirements, specifications, block diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, bills of material, and test plans/reports for the design, development and integration of AMI telecom infrastructure.
- Interface with other Engineering Leads to ensure design requirements are fully defined and provide estimates for the required activities.
- Required to complete technical reviews of others drawings.
- Provides overall management of the systems and electrical engineering deliverables.
- Formulate, implement and track assigned engineering programs to achieve overall goals, technical requirements, schedules, contracts, and specifications.
- Ensures network equipment meets customer technical specifications.
- Ensures network and software configurations meet customer technical requirements.
- Troubleshoots network and software performance problems and proposes remedy options.
- Participation in the selection of suitable RF and antenna components.
- Ensure all aspects of the RF and antenna design meet performance, schedule, quality and cost requirements.
- Establishes and monitors system performance reporting, recognizing adverse trends and taking necessary preventative and corrective actions.
- Works closely with the Field Engineers to resolve complex issues relation to wireless communications and integrated software applications.
- Investigates system failures, registration failures, and interactive read failures in system deployments.
- Acts as liaison between customer and local project team to resolve telecom technical issues.- Conduct design reviews and work within cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and supply chain.- Assist engineering team in making recommendations for solutions to specific endpoint and infrastructure applications.
