Role Summary


As part of the CSR core working group you are responsible for defining and developing the strategies which underpin Landmark Group’s CSR objectives, implement and report on CSR activities, and provide expertise and advice on the subject across the Group’s Concepts.


You are a dynamic, passionate and creative individual who stays abreast with the cultural, social, CSR and non-profit space and industry standards in the Middle East and beyond.


 Core Responsibilities



  • Develops an effective CSR programme encompassing environment, workplace, community and marketplace issues that will deliver agreed CSR targets.

  • Successfully leads and manages programme activities through the complete programme life cycle from requirements and planning to rollout and measurement. This includes: programme definition, project scheduling, budgeting and forecasting, resource planning, contracting, risk and issue management, impact measurement and reporting

  • Ensures strategic alignment cross functionally, identifying opportunities to achieve strategic objectives through programme implementation.

  • Collaborates with Concepts and Corporate, on programme prioritisation; ensures executive sponsorship and support of programmes.

  • Collaborates with division and operations partners (e.g., IT, Legal, Communications, HR, Territories) on programme design, implementation and continuous improvement.

  • Compare actual performance with planned performance and implement appropriate corrective action if needed to continuously improve programmes.

  • Develop and manage key external CSR relationships both strategic partnerships and beneficiaries (e.g. private sector organisations, social enterprises, educational institutions, forums & events, govt. entities, volunteering groups)

  • Evangelises the programmes and associated initiatives, internally and externally, to develop awareness of and participation in the programmes.

  • Establish shared goals, roles and responsibilities, metrics and feedback loops and other operating best practices. 

  • Understand industry standards for measurement and establish CSR performance indicators to bring the organisation in line

  • Ensure effective communication methods are in place to communicate business ethics, CSR targets and performance

  • Work closely with Corporate Communications on the organisation’s branding strategy (internal and external) as well as reaching out to the public via PR and marketing to deliver the message organisation’s commitment to social responsibility

  • Establish a mechanism and strategy to engage internal stakeholders and establish a network of CSR Champions within the organisation
